If you know a place where there's good food... share it with us. Smiley

I'll get the ball rolling.

Lanzhou hand made noodles - Smith Street.

Not exactly great food, but its 24 hrs (Hey 1 out of 2.)
Jackson "Kopi Tiam" is supposed to be shutting down soon,
for some highway rerouting or expansion or somesuch.

The Ngoh Hiang at the corner store is not bad, There is the pretty
popular "Whampoa Pork Porridge" store there too.

And a branch of the Chai Chee noodle house (minced meat noodles) that
is sometimes good, depends on which cook is working.

What? Why are you at home? Aren't you supposed to be at Sim Lim Square bullying kids and selling Macs to suckers?  Grin

Thanks for the tip but it appears to me that closing the Jackson "Kopi Tiam" is just but another attempt of the TalePAP to punish the defiant people of Potong Pasir.

Yeah I was kinda wondering if they might have to shut down the MRT station for a couple of
years, ya know, just in case the roadworks render the tunnels unsafe or something..

Safest place is Secret Recipe which serves decent halal Western food. I don't eat there anymore because I've eaten there too much, but it works. Fig and Olive is another halal chain.

www.cuisinexpress.com.sg

A little pricey - prices are a la carte + delivery charges ++. It has its uses; on Christmas Eve last year, we ordered almost $500 of ribs and stuff from Tony Roma's.

It's also how we got Prego's during our "24" marathon.

I had Secret Recipe on Thursday night. Have they changed their menu?  Huh?

It appears to be a mixture of local, fusion and some Western. Don't eat the chicken condon bleu or something. It's really bad.  Embarrassed

Ditto for the espresso milkshake.  Lips Sealed

I seem to recall that they were better.  Shocked
