I play world of warcraft on Frostmourne (US), an Oceania server based on oceania timezone.

My guild consists almost entirely of singaporeans and its website: www.shidavere.net

Upon reaching level 60 in March or April 2005, I stopped.

Perhaps, I shall return when the expansion has been launched. Perhaps not.

Anthony, Colin, Renegade Anarchist and a few others play too... I can't remember which servers.

All of us are on US servers too.

I am impressed with how you guys managed your time. I could hardly even find time to play Ultima Online but again I am not known for being good at managing my time anyway.

I'm on Icecrown, still raiding, since I only recently discovered the joy of purple items.

I'm now just patiently awaiting the arrival of the expansion, where I can finally roll my Blood Elf Holy Priest.

I used to play WoW with Shyuech and Colin on Llane.
Got real bored after 60 Shaman, 55 Hunter.

Bleah, getting 40 people together to raid MC on US Time?
Kinda have better things to do, lots of better things..

40 people who all at some point have to feed the baby, go to the bathroom,
answer a phonecall, go to sleep because its late, lose connection due to crappy ISP,
order pizza, fall asleep at keyboard, just plain suck, have attitudes worse than their playskills,
ninja loot, gripe, whine..etc etc.

Kinda gets boring after not too long. I enjoyed the journey to 60, but after you're there, Zzzzzz

60 UD Priest, 60 UD Rogue on Llane - now abandoned.

60 NE Rogue on Khaz'Goroth - more or less active. I try to avoid Singaporeans/Singaporean guilds. My guild has its share of SG'ers but they are generally proven.

Let me see if i can get Willie and Brian into the game when the expansion is launched. I have yet to experience WOW on the Alliance side. I heard it is a whole new ball game.  Wink

I won't be on Llane. A PvP server preferably.  Shocked

As for servers with large numbers of Singaporeans, Shake Head well, yeah, I completely understand. It's like servers with Koreans or Hongkies.  Tongue

The problem with American servers is that you sometimes get 12-year old American kiddie beggars! Once, a Tauren beggar followed me throughout the city, saying, 'I'm a noob, please gimme money...'  Grin

They're harmless. So, I don't mind.
 Wink

As for ninja looters, I think they are everywhere!

The problem with Oceanic servers is that you get merkin beggers at your every step:

My guild opened the AQ gates, and went to bed (after about 10 hours online). These guys came on and killed the first boss in AQ40 and claimed to have taken over lead in server firsts. Yeah.. it's one of those things.

Beggars are okay, they can be ignored I guess.

AQ? Ack. It's been too long. What is AQ? Al-Quaeda? They killed only Mullah Omar but not Osama?  Shocked

And you missed it?!? What? You bum!

What drops did they get for the first boss?

Anything good?

First or second tier purples?  Roll Eyes

Any screen captures?

AQ (Ahn'Qiraj) starting bosses drop minor upgrades or sidegrades to gear found in BWL (Blackwing Lair). Later bosses drop slightly better loot but there is also stuff with Frost Resistance which is anticipated to be required for Naxx in 1.11 (due in a couple of weeks).

Drops from AQ also include skill scrolls. Eg, Instant Poison ranks that are above what trainers can get you to.

There are reputation rewards from the Cenarion Circle here as well.
