I definitely powergame  Grin

Let's see, I
1) go for the classes (or legit multi-class) with the most damage potential,
2) chose traits that let me roll 3 dice (and pick best 2) on my attack skills etc
3) find ways to max the important stats - like getting 18/00 str at character generation
4) then look for tomes/potions to ultimately raise it to 25 (25 is the max stats can go in AD&D)
5) pour through source books to get those nifty artifacts/equipment

For BattleTech, all battlemechs I design are fully optimized with no wasted weight or space. If there's 1 critical space left, you can be sure that I'll squeeze something in there!

My current character is Lobtsang Ramadingdong.

2nd Monk/1st Azurin Totemist.

I have a base grapple check of +12 when activating Girallon arms. When I drink my potions of Enlarge and activate my Iron Grip Tattoo, I get +20.

I think it's now possible to build my next generation of Halfling grenadiers with Grenadier, Mad Alchemist and that nifty feat which allows Halflings to stroke two squares with a splash weapon.

The two of you ought to meet one another, even though your specific areas of interests are different.

Pip, I will be meeting Modeus for dinner some time next week. You wanna come along?

Pip,

My team needs good players who can occasionally stand in as DMs. I'd love to have you in my RPG group.

Have you warn you, though. We're tactitians and play D&D like a wargame so you need to be willing to pick up 3.5 Ed.

Cool! No prob with handling things like a wargame.
But I don't have 3.5 rules though, only have up to 3.0 so no idea what are prestige classes etc, so might take me a while lol.

3.0 is good enough for us. 3.5 made very cosmetic changes although they all make a lot of sense.
