Just asking, is there any 'lagonline 2000' users here who have already experienced the upgraded bandwidth?

Heard that some users have already been bumped up to 4000Mbps.

No idea about that because I terminated mine and is now using SingTel's 3500kpbs plan.

It's not entirely better anyway. And for some odd reasons sometimes the ADSL model will drop connection.

Early this year I switched from Starhub to Singtel 10Mbps plan (and got a free 30gig video ipod) so that I could play World of Warcraft with optimum latency.

I received a golden "handshake" letter from Starhub that it will upgrade mine at July 1st.

More bandwidth to do torrenting.  Tongue

I found my speed alot faster, or perhaps it's just me imagining things.... the thing about Maxonline is that it does not drop packets of data, which I very much appreciate... was helping people install internet TV, and found that all singnet subscribers for broadband keeps getting jerky scenes, packets dropping, etc whereas SCV maxonline people were a breeze to install. Had so much problems with the singnet subscribers I decided to stop doing the service and refund their money.

I guess normal subscribers wouldn't experience being "dropped", unless you were downloading a big file from one server instead of streaming...

I love my maxonline!

I don't know. Back during the StudKup LagOnline 2000 days, it's not only the lag that's a pain in the butt, but also the packet drops.

Ultima OnLine was entirely unplayable.

Maybe MoL4000 is better but I have already stopped using it and am using SickNet's 3500 ADSL now.

mine is "upgraded"m but I dun see a big different though. Partly i do nto downlod much and the "original" 1500M (before i was upgraded to 2000) was already good enough for me, and also partly because I got great neighbours that are basically downloading 24x365.

What i am really concern, or rather, unhappy with, is the IP address is only valid for 4 hours. I keep droping from game (and often died) when during the IP renewal period.

Now I always have to set my alarmt clock when I am gaming - to remind me to log-off from game and force a manual IP renewal on my router.

It seems like on the papers, it's gone up to MaxOnline 6000 now.
